VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)

I stock and use KBAC-27D Variable Frequency drives, I wire these for you. It will come with two cables coming out of the bottom. One goes to the three phase motor (4 conductors) and the other to the wall outlet for power in. I can wire this for 120v, or 220v whichever you prefer. This VFD is good for either a 1.5hp or a 2hp motor. Cost is $650 shipped. This VFD is not compatible with single phase motors, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WIRE IT TO ONE. If I wire this for 120v and you hook it to a 2hp three phase motors you will only get 1.5hp at your grinders spindle, but If I wire it for 220v you will get your full rated 2hp at the spindle. WIring for lower voltage current starves your motor and robs 1/2 a horsepower.
